By having been a "military brat" first, then a military spouse, I understand the emotions that military families experience. I would like to "give back" to the military community who risk their lives to protect my freedom.

To all of my families, I am Julie Oliver from Wisconsin...if I was your photographer and you haven't received an email from me, please contact me at info@yourphotosbyjo.com . Last week I sent out an email to each family I had a session with which included your gallery website and password. This week, I will be calling all of the families whom I did not receive email replies from.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! My Family was one of those photographed, and I cnnot wait to see some of the pictures. My husband is leaving on his third tour for Iraq, and sometimes you just need that photo to see their face. It means so much to me to know there are organiztions out there who care the way this one does. So again, Thank You!!!

I am a Family member and I wanted to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for what you did this past weekend for us all.

I am an FRSA, I took MANY reservations for many well deserved HEROES and their Families as well as take my own Family photos with my own real-life HERO........words cannot begin to describe how great it was!!!

Having photos prior to daddy leaving was great; it gave us a chance to do something together as a Family while forgetting just for a moment that daddy will soon be leaving us again for a third time!!

Kudos to all the photographers; you were our angels this past weekend.........thank you!!

My brother was one of your volunteer photographers. When he told me about this project, I was so proud of him and so impressed with this whole concept and all the hoops that probably needed to be jumped through to make this happen at Ft. Bliss. I have been involved for many years with Adopt a Platoon to send care packages/letters to deployed troops. I know that helps with morale, and I know this website here and the photos taken will help with morale, too. I even told my brother that I was half tempted to visit him in Cruces during the summer in the hopes that I could go with him and be his assistant so I could take part. :-) Kudos to you all on such a wonderful idea and the efforts to make it happen!!!

Thank you OpLove Photographers. I am a Navy wife who's husband is headed to Iraq. We've been apart before, but never with a real threat of danger... and not with three little ones in the family.

I appreciate your service, and my husband is looking forward to having his babies close during his time far away.

Celeste,

Unfortunately, we had to stop selling these, as one of the conditions of the recent OpLove legal review. We changed a whole lot of things to ensure compliance with the Joint Ethics Regulation; one of the changes in our policies meant that we can no longer sell OpLove images, even as a fundraiser for the organization.
