Sgt. Joshua Soto was an OpLove client from a huge Ft. Bliss event in April 2009. A few months later, he was killed in combat while deployed to Iraq. He left behind a beautiful wife, Thelma, and a young son, Jayden. OpLove's first official event as an organization ended with our first loss. In honor of his sacrifice, OpLove set up a memorial account for any of our client's that are killed in action. It is respectfully called the "Sgt. Soto Memorial Fund".
This memorial fund is used to provide professional display prints and canvases to the family for funeral services, as well as additional photos for keepsakes at home. Should the unfortunate need arise, we encourage our photographers and any participating clients to contact Admin as soon possible for us to be able to help with the memorial service portraits. Please send a direct email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Below is a photo of Thelma, Joshua Soto's wife, opening the 36x42 canvas print provided by OpLove. It is one of only about 20 photos taken of Sgt. Soto and his new family before he was deployed.
