What is OpLove?

We understand that deployments are one of the hardest parts of being a military family (some of us are military spouses or prior military). Operation: Love Reunited hopes to help bridge the gap of separation by connecting families through Patriotic Portraiture. Professional photographers have joined forces with OpLove to volunteer their talents and services at no cost to you!

In light of the Independence Day holiday, and in an effort to spread the word about our awesome organization, we invite all military families who are facing, or currently experiencing a deployment to join us at NTC Promenade at Liberty Station,
on Friday, July 3rd.  San Diego's volunteer photographers will join together
to give back to those that give so much!

Appointment times will be scheduled between the hours of 10:00am and 6:00pm (or on a 1st come, 1st serve basis, with the 1 o'clock hour closed for lunch) to families whose service member is about to be, or is deployed. You will spend about 25-30 minutes with a photographer, creating patriotic, casual portraits and candid shots of your family. So wear your red, white, and blue; bring some boots, a "dixie cup" hat, a flight jacket, dog tags, combination cover or small props like a flag or a photo of your service member. Service members, please wear your uniform! You will be required to show your military ID and proof of deployment (orders or command letter of deployment) when you check in, and in return a 4x6 album is sent to your deployed service member, per the OpLove way! The session and album are completely free to eligible families!

flag pole, directly across the street from
the Command Center, Bldg 200.
